A Saxophonist and Pioneer in Saxophone Literature
Dedicated Instructor, Accomplished Performer
One of our saxophonists, Boon Aik, is a full-time Wind Orchestra Instructor affiliated with Yamaha. He has studied under the renowned Japanese composer Mitsuo Nonami and has had master classes with the esteemed saxophonist Nobuya Sugawa. Boon Aik is a pioneer in saxophone literature teaching in Malaysia, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his students.
A Symphony of Performances
Boon Aik’s performance experience is extensive and varied. He has played at numerous weddings and corporate events, showcasing his versatility and skill. He has also taken part in saxophone ensemble concerts at KLPac and has performed solo and ensemble pieces at the Klang Music Festival three times.
Performances for Prestigious Events
Boon Aik has graced many prestigious events with his performances. He played for the Yamaha opening show at KLCC, the Public Bank Annual Event, and the Dior Road Show, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to each event.
